THE WHISTLING DEAR LORD HAVE MERCY
I didn’t know how bad I needed this until just now.

Pure white with light grey tips on its wings
I find Nikola Tesla to be one of the most intriguing people that lived in the last century. I’ve read several things about him and i could rant for hours about the injustice that he suffered many a time during his life (numerous patents of his were stolen), his difficulties in personal relationships, his stigmatization as a madman and his great contribution in science overall… but, you don’t need any of my fangirl blabbering when you could read about him on your own:)
Tesla died alone and forgotten in his room of the New Yorker Hotel in 1943. Over the last years of his life he used to feed the pigeons and if he would found one injured he’d bring it in his room and look after it until it got better. Based on his own statements there was one particular pigeon -one ‘pure white, with light grey tips on its wings’- he dearly loved.
So here’s a little, quick sketch…
